As my children and hubby started asking me what I wanted for Mother's Day, I started reflecting on how many times I have tried to turn a small area of my front yard planter into a little rose garden. I have purchased many a bare root rose, but alas, they doth wither and die. So I had some luck a few years ago with a rose bush from
Costco, that has been a lone producer in the planter, mostly surviving surrounded by weeds.
Taking the cue when I brought two more bushes home from Costco, Russell gathered Cody and Skyler for a Saturday morning "Mother's Day project". I really appreciate the time and energy put
into my guys making it perfect!
Thanks to my guys I shall have roses that last longer than a few days.. thank you sweeties!
