Denver - chapter one - The Zoo!

My month of April, so very crazy. I worked a week, then got to go to Denver to spend time with Matt and Heidi, and the little love of my life - Jackson. When my friends have talked about their grandkids, they said - just wait, you think you love babies now, just wait until it is YOUR grandbaby, sure enough, I have fallen head over heels in love.



Skyler and I took off to, actually Brighton, where Heidi and Matt live with the most adorable little boy - did I mention - the most fabulous baby boy? Anyway, Heidi found out that some bad weather was coming later in the week so, Skyler chose to go to the Zoo our first full day in town. So here we are -

As you can see our baby was very much into the animals. We were doing sounds that the animals make, and he got very good at the bear's growl, and this picture shows how well he did with the monkey's "Oo-Oo-Oo"

I am so new to this, so bear with me. I had to publish what I had done so far, cuz I was going a little nutso....surprise huh?

So...the day continued on with pictures of the wedding party, and a party of all parties hosted by Julia's aunt and uncle and dear friends Wayne and Cindy Sant in their divine backyard. A great time was to be had by all..... hope you can see!

Grant and Julia Forever!

Our son Grant has been blessed! He and his most beautiful bride Julia Warner were sealed in the San Diego temple on March 22nd. We love them both, and know that Julia will forever make our Grant a very happy man. May you remember how this day is sacred above all. "To be married to the right person, in the right place, by the right authority"

The day was absolutely beautiful, as was the bride and groom and their bridal party. Everyone raved about how gorgeous everyone looked in their wedding finery. We all had a most glorious day. We had all 8 of our children there, with the 7 endowed all in the temple for the sealing. Jordan just home from his mission, and Cody endowed in preparation for his mission to Honduras in June. We loved having our Stephanie and baby Jackson there, we were missing Matt to make our family complete. How great to be surrounded by all of our family on this day of days. What a peaceful feeling.
