My hubby's calling is serving on the Stake High Council, and his main assignment is serving with the Young Single Adult Ward. Since our two guys who are still here at home attend there, it is a great place for him to be. This weekend was filled with activities with them. Russell cooked tri-tip for their Christmas party and dinner. They had a talent show, I wish I had my camera with me for that! Those kids are so talented and so funny! Last night we were able to make Chili, and take it along for a dinner at the L.A. Temple, and see the lights.

We had a car full of chatty singles and smiled as we listened to the conversations.

As you drive from the 10 freeway up Overland Dr. You can see the temple, and being so beautifully lit up, just enhances the message of being a true light to the world.

We were there last night too around 8:00ish!!! I remember seeing a big group standing over where you had your picture taken, I am so sad we missed you :( We did get to see Rebekah and Bionca there which made my night. The Temple looked so beautiful. It was great to see you Sat. for a quick moment.

How fun to work with the Young Adults. I would enjoy that. The Christmas lights look wonderful. Were you in stake YW when we went up and helped decorate the grounds? I never realized how much work went in to it. (Remember how fussy those in charge were?!)
Beautiful pictures of the temple Sheryl! We are going to go to our Temple here in London on Saturday next. It's Ward Temple day and I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday!
I so miss doing that each year. when we come next year that is one stop we MUST take. LOVE YOU ALL!
