sunshine of my summer!

So my darlin' boy got to take his first trip to the beach this week, dig in the sand, play in the waves. Then later in the week he got to have a romp thru the sprinklers. On both occasions, he was hesitant at first, and then reveled in the wonders of California summer and the water.

He is the sunshine of my summer that is for sure!

Nothing like being a Grandma. Lucky you for getting to have him around for so long. You're really going to miss him when he goes home.

I hear being a grandma is one of the best jobs. You guys look like you are having so much fun. He is such a cutie!

I always have so much fun reading your blog! I wish my mom would do one too. If you see her see if you can put a bug in her ear about it.

What a doll! He's growing up so fast. Does he have red in his hair? Or is that just the picture?

Jackson is very much a redhead! His eyebrows are red too, so I think he is keeping his auburn locks! He is a cutie! Everyone notices his hair color right away, it is great! His momma had red when she was born, but it got darker. Russell's beard comes in red, as do most of our boys. His paternal great grandma is a redhead too.
