My boys are growing up!

While we were in Utah, my sister Lori and her Brent and William took us to a Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving point(more about this later). Russell is quite used to me and such events, and is a good sport to come along (first we went to Cabela's however). Had we invited Brendon on such an adventure during his freshman, sophmore, or even (single) junior year, he would have found a pickup volleyball game for sure on a Saturday afternoon... but now we have Stephanie!! I am liking having more girls in and around our family, especially when my sons are as happy as they are ;). We had a terrific afternoon in the beauty of the park!

Then this past Friday night was a bit of an event. A Triple date with my sons. Grant & Julia, and Jordan and his girlfriend Breana, Russell & Me. Proof again of having more girls in and around our family being stupendous, because things like going to see my sister in her play, my sons have poo-pooed in the last few years. So it was great spending time with my boys and their girls. I so very much thank Julia and Breana for helping to infuse not only a bit of family time, but a bit of culture too.
Tara was surprised at our being in the audience, but the purple tulips delivered right before the show kinda tipped her off. Tara is a shining light on any stage she graces. She surely was the best in "Company". And she is one terrific little sister, friend, dancer, actress and aunt...

Sister Holmes! Thanks for the comment on our blog. It's funny because I was looking at your blog the night before. I stumbled across it while looking at Sister Benson's. It's fun to see what your family is up to! Thanks for always being a great example!

OH, you have NO IDEA how excited I am right now. YOU HAVE A BLOG! Now I can learn from the master of all mothers! I clicked on your name when you left a comment on mine, and it did not take me to a blog, so I figured you were just a reader. I am soooooooooo happy to have found you off Deanne's blog! Please will you forever be my mentor. I just love you to death!

What a fun event! I just love Tara! She has been in my ward in Seacliff, even though I have not seen her forever.
